Do I need any prior Mahjong experience?
No experience at all! Many of our players are complete beginners. Everything is taught step by step, at a relaxed pace.

What type of Mahjong do you teach?
We primarily teach American Mahjong, focusing on clear fundamentals and enjoyable play. If you’re interested in another style, feel free to ask.

Is Mahjong hard to learn?
Mahjong can look intimidating at first, but it becomes very approachable when taught patiently. Our lessons are designed to make it feel simple and enjoyable.

What happens in a Mahjong lesson?
Lessons cover the basics — tiles, rules, gameplay flow — with plenty of time for questions and hands-on practice.

How long is a Mahjong lesson or session?
Most lessons and play sessions last about 2 hours, but this can be adjusted depending on the group.

Do you offer one-on-one lessons?
Yes! Private lessons are available, as well as small group sessions.
